ANODIZING
MIL-A-8625 TYPE II CLASS 1 OR 2 Sulfuric Anodizing

Class 1 is clear anodizing and Class 2 specifies a color. The colors we do are: Black, Gold, Green, Blue and Red. Anodizing is a finishing process that produces an aluminum oxide film on the surface of aluminum. Anodizing increases durability, color stability, corrosion resistance as well as making the aluminum surface electrically non-conductive.

  • EFFECTIVE WAY TO INCREASE THE LIFE OF ALUMINUM PARTS

  • COST EFFECTIVE

Key Benefits of Anodizing are:

  • Surface is harder and more abrasion resistant

  • Improves the natural corrosion resistance of aluminum

  • Insulates the aluminum surface against passage of electricity

  • Ability to color aluminum by absorbing dy into anodic coating
