ANODIZING
MIL-A-8625F TYPE II CLASS 1 OR
2 Sulfuric Anodizing
Anodizing- An electrochemical process that converts the surface
of aluminum to aluminum oxide, a thick and tough finish.
Class
1 is clear anodizing and Class 2 specifies a color.
The colors we do are: Black, Gold, Green, Blue and
Red.
Anodizing increases durability,
color stability, corrosion resistance as well as making the
aluminum surface electrically non-conductive.
Key Benefits
of Anodizing are:
-
Surface is
harder and more abrasion resistant.
-
Improves
the natural corrosion resistance of aluminum.
-
Insulates
the aluminum surface against passage of electricity.
-
Ability to
color aluminum by absorbing into anodic coating.
TANK
