Electroless
nickel provides a hard, wear and corrosion resistant coating
without the use of electric current. A major advantage of this
process is that it is possible to coat the whole surface of an
item evenly. Complex parts with holes and deep recesses can
achieve a uniform and controlled thickness without excess
build-up at any edges or corners. This eliminates post machining
after plating
to regain the required dimensions.
