ASTM B733-AMS 2404G

Electroless Nickel is an autocatalytic process using chemical reduction to plate nickel onto a solid substrate. The plating can provide a hard, wear, and corrosion resistant coating without the use of electric current. The major advantage of this process is that it is possible to coat the whole surface of a part evenly. Difficult parts with complex geometrics and recesses can achieve a uniform and controlled thickness without excess buil up at edges or corners. Electroless nickel plating can also eliminate the need for post-process machning to meet precise dimensions.

HIGH PHOSPHORUS ELECTROLESS NICKEL

Offers excellent corrosion resistance and up to 1000 salt spray hours with .001" thick plating.

MID PHOSPHORUS ELECTROLESS NICKEL

Offers excellent abrasion resistance and above average corrosion resistance; this plating also offers the best  appearance for aesthetic purposes.

UNIFORM PLATING

Will cover odd and complex geometrics evenly with maximum coverage.

CONTROLLED PLATING

Electroless nickel can be added on to a part with a tolerance of approximately .0001"; Perfect for tight tolerance work.

EMI/RFI SHIELDING

Can be used to protect computer and electronic equipment.
